The Middle East ceasefire is again on the brink of breaking down. This latest truce of six months had been brokered by Egypt. At the Influx Project we believe that it is vital to create a fairer UN that both Palestinians and Israelis can respect as an impartial judge for brokering the next ceasefire. Currently the UN is dominated by pro-Israel USA which means that the UN is not trusted to act fairly and is therefore unable to assist in bringing a Middle East peace agreement.
The Influx Project creates a more balanced and fair UN that could help it become more effective in brokering peace in the Middle East and all around the world. The only catch is that it requires your help.

Today is the 60th anniversary of the Declaration of Human Rights, the UN created touchstone of human morality. Its widespread adoption is testament to the success of the document that underpins most international laws. It represents a highlight of international co-operation that has not been matched in all the years since.
The Declaration demonstrates what the UN is capable of when it simplifies its work. The Influx Project recognises that simplification is particularly important for encouraging the public to support the UN’s efforts as too often its work is inaccessible. Public support is crucial to the UN’s success and therefore we hope that simplicity will become a recognised UN goal.
