Philosophy

Our trademarked logo of the Influx ‘shooting curves’ represents the philosophy behind the Influx Project.

The three parts represents our feeling that the interaction of things is more important than any one entity alone. And how all things are related, not least the world, the UN and you. The curves help to demonstrate connections.
The curves can also help us to review our opinions, prejudices and convictions. When considering any point of view we hold onto by looking at it framed through the three fundamental terms: yes, no, maybe.

If we are only prepared to hold one view about a situation, whether private/public or large/small, there is no room for change. The use of the curves as a diplomatic tool relates to the sentiment that the more we know, the less we understand. And more so, if we can moderate our convictions the more we will understand.

Its practical use helps develop changes in attitude and improves the decisions and action required to be all we can be and in the case of the Influx Project, help the UN become all it can be. As such, we are always happy to consider that we may be wrong about things, but please consider first that we might just be right, at least sometimes, maybe?
