The Influx Trust

Charity

We are in the process of registering the Influx Trust Ltd., a charitable company established with the purpose of educating the public about the work of the UN and the UN about the will of the public.

We expect this body to be registered by September 2008. This body will be responsible for collecting the pledges raised through the Influx Project and handing them over to the United Nations.

Handover

Funds raised will be directed to the Millenium Development Goals until 2015 after which we’ll seek to devise a method of helping to fund the UN as a whole.

Administration Costs
This will initially be capped at 17% of funds raised from pledges but will be lowered as soon as there are a sufficient number of pledges to permit this.

Pledge Rates

Pledge rates will be updated periodically to account for fluctuations in exchange rates and changes in relative GDP/head.

Transparency

The Influx Project encompases Influx International Ltd. and Influx Trust Ltd. as UK registered companies we must register yearly accounts openly with Companies House which ensures transparency of our actions.

Accountability

The responsibility of assuring trust in our fundraising will rest with the managing director, Max Kalis until the Influx Trust and integrity is registered, when the trustees of the charity, Rachel Smith and Steven Akester will assume these responsibilities
