The Ratings

National Ratings
Amassing pledges will create two principle ratings by which to see how committed the people of each country are to UN progress. see general World Statistics or specific information from the Countries

1. The Influx Rating
This main indicator of UN support is calculated by taking the number of Influx pledgers (people registering their support), as a proportion of people who bank online in that country (the number of people who could reasonably get involved). Variations on this are stated in the statistics section and may help provide a broader picture.

2. Pledge Points
This is the average number of other pledges required by people who register from a particular country before contributing financially themselves. Those countries whose people require a lower level of commitment from others demonstrate more willingness.

Scales
To allow the ratings to have immediate meaning we will start by using ratings that state members making pledges as a proportion of every 100, 000 online bankees in that country and reducing this amount by a factor of 10, each time sufficient numbers of pledgers make this possible. To indicate clearly which scale we are on we will print the Influx Ratings in specific colours and announce any changes.

Use of Rating
We are promoting the use of the Influx ratings within the UN General Assembly and for general use in diplomatic exchanges. These ratings of how internationally minded each country is are intended as each country’s primary source of national pride.
