FUQ’s & Definitions

Frequently Unanswered Questions

1. Q: Why don’t the UN run such a brilliant scheme themselves?
A: Never say never…But it is unlikely that the few governments who significantly fund the UN would approve of their funds being used for this if it was free to be critical of them.

2. Q: Are UNHCR/UNICEF funded differently? A: Yes, these organisations are funded privately, external to the main UN financial system. This is possible in part because the plight of refugees and children are areas which naturally arouse more sympathy that others.

3. Q: If the Influx Project was a sport, which would it be? A: Bicycle Polo. An exhilarating game that was once exclusively for the elite but is now accessible by all. Serious fun.

4. Q: If the Influx Project was like a film, what would it be like. A: A cross between ‘Mr Smith Goes to Washington’,(earnest & honest) ‘Jerry McGuire’(idealism and dedication) and ‘The Fifth Element’ (bold & bright vision)?
