A: Never say never…But it is unlikely that the few governments who significantly fund the UN would approve of their funds being used for this if it was free to be critical of them. | |
| 2. Q: Are UNHCR/UNICEF funded differently? | A: Yes, these organisations are funded privately, external to the main UN financial system. This is possible in part because the plight of refugees and children are areas which naturally arouse more sympathy that others. | |

Member
A user whose pledge has been activated and whose minimum 2 year subscription has begun.
National Assessed UN Contribution
Contribution apportioned to a country by General Assembly’s 5th Committee’s ACABQ (The Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions)
National Influx Memebers
The total number of pledgers in each country whose pledge points have been reached and have accordingly paid their nationally weighted contribution.
National Influx Pledgers
The total number of pledgers in each country.
National Influx Rating
The total number of pledgers in each country as a proportion of online bankees.
National Influx Users
The total number of unique visitors to the site
National Pledge Defaults
Numbers of payments overdue on pledges promised as proportion of pledges made in that country.
National Pledge Point
The average number of other people required to pledge before a country’s players are prepared to have their pledges activated, as a proportion of online bankees.
National UN Debt
Current balance with UN: Amounts paid minus National Assessed UN Contributions.
Online Bankee
A person who is able to do banking online and has done at least once.
Pledger
A user who records a pledge on their profile.
Pledge Point
The number of other people required to pledge by a user before their own pledge is activated. May be stated as a total figure or percentage of online bankees in their country.
User
A person who only looks at the site without registering.
World Average Pledge Amount
The average amount asked for from all pledgers worldwide.
World Average UN Cost
The total cost of the UN split between all people between 15-65.
Weighted Pledge Amount
The World Average Influx Pledge altered for different countries by GDP/capita.
