Tausenden fahren fort, jede Minute zu sterben, während alle Augen zu Wall Street und weg von verlegten Flutopfern in Indien und vom Verhungern in Äthiopien sich drehen, in dem Nahrungsmittelhilfsmittel infolge von Mangel an der Finanzierung für das Weltnahrungsmittelprogramm geschnitten worden ist. The Influx Project exists to remedy this vacuum created when national, political or economic priorities remove the focus of politics from those that do not have any voice or political clout to keep their needs on the global agenda.

Funding through the Influx Project provides a financial support system for those UN agencies and programmes, which work consistently to keep the needs of those most at risk at the forefront of their activity. Currently Influx’s focus is on the Millenium Development Goals (MDGs). Funding the MDGs through Influx also acts as means of mobilising global consciousness and support  for UN activities. The Influx Project aims to keep momentum going in protection of the world’s most needy. Getting your opinion and voice behind your money is the most effective means to hold the UN to account, to spur it into action and to support its most admirable of aims.
